Kim Kardashian to appear in Vogue magazine

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Kim Kardashian is headed to Vogue magazine.

According to feminist site Jezebel, the 33-year-old reality star shot a photo spread Sunday that is set to appear in a forthcoming issue of Vogue.

News of the reported photo shoot comes on the heels of months of rumors claiming that Kanye West has been trying to convince the magazine's editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour, to feature his fiancee in the fashion glossy.

A source told Hollywood Life that the new mom "would die to be on the cover," because the honor would "cement her in the fashion world," but that there was "no way in hell" that she would ask Wintour for something like that.

"She’s not even pressuring Kanye for that. He’s doing that all on his own,” the source added. “Kim is playing it real cute and not really voicing that she wants the cover, especially in her wedding dress. She wants that bad but doesn’t want to seem needy or desperate so she’s keeping her mouth shut and letting Kanye do all the talking, as usual.”

While Wintour has reportedly refused West's petition to put Kardashian in the fashion bible before, sources told Jezebel that photographers for the magazine were "in LA shooting her right now."

Neither Kardashian, Wintour nor West have yet commented on the reports.
