LOS ANGELES, Jan. 29 (UPI) -- CM Punk is reportedly leaving World Wrestling Entertainment.

The 35-year-old profesional wrestler allegedly walked out of the ring before the most recent episode of "Monday Night Raw,” telling Vince McMahon that he was going home.

While the Chicago native has yet to confirm the news that he's leaving the organization, his actions have led many to believe that he's done with WWE. Additionally, his name has been removed from all live events over the next couple of weeks. He’s still being advertised for the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View on Feb. 23.

Punk's contract with the WWE was scheduled to expire in July, and while there has been speculation that he would not re-sign, there is no word on why he would want to end ties with the organization at an earlier date.

Punk first announced that he was leaving the WWE in 2011, but ended up signing a new deal with the company. Only time will tell if his exit will be permanent this time around.

While the wrestler has failed to address the subject directly, he did write a cryptic message on Twitter Monday thanking his fans for their support.
