PUNTA CHAME , Panama, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- The dynamic duo responsible for Justin Bieber's stardom have flown down to Panama to advise their troubled protege following his arrest last week on drunk-driving and drag-racing charges.

Super-manager Scooter Braun and singer Usher were spotted in Punta Chame, Panama, where Bieber is reportedly enjoying a relaxing resort vacation with 21-year-old model Chantel Jeffries. She sat in the passenger's seat of Bieber's yellow Lamborghini at the time of his arrest.

TMZ reported Sunday that Braun and Usher planned to have a "sit-down" with the 19-year-old, whose year of public relations disasters culminated with Thursday's arrest.

Panamanian Instagram user rosetabordanea shared photos of herself with Bieber, Usher and Jeffries.

Meanwhile, Bieber's American detractors have launched a petition to have him deported back to his native Canada. More than 47,000 people have signed a WhiteHouse.gov petition calling on the Obama administration to revoke Bieber's right to live and work in the United States.

At least his manager still supports him.

"Been a long day. Bottom line is we are defined by how we handle adversity. Be there when it counts. Love fully in good times and bad," Braun tweeted shortly after Bieber's arrest.
