Jan. 25 (UPI) -- "Grey's Anatomy" may have just signed two main characters for another couple years on the series, but the show is also bringing in some fresh blood in "Greek" alum Paul James.
James is joining the staff at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital this spring to assist in some medical research and may hang around for a potentially recurring role, TVLine reported Friday.

James previously had a role as Calvin on ABC Family's college dramedy "Greek" as well in the BBC's "Torchwood: Miracle Day."
The news came one day after the drama announced it signed stars Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey to two-year deals.
