Kristen Bell cringes, laughs at terrible 'Veronica Mars' toy

Kristen Bell's tireless efforts are a major reason why Veronica Mars is coming back into our lives in just a couple of months, but there's one piece of the beloved teenaged sleuth's past she wishes would stay there.

"It's corpse makeup, first of all. I've got a choker on... those are not my boobs, you guys," Bell said, when she was ambushed by a mortifying blast from the past during a visit to Conan.

Host Conan O'Brien had first pulled out a doll of Bell's Frozen character, Anna, then surprised her by bringing out a toy model of Bell as Veronica.

"It is one of the weirdest looking depictions of anybody," O'Brien said, flabbergasted. "This is supposed to be you. Look at the face!"

"This is about the ugliest representation I could ever draw of myself," Bell said, but she added that the "saddest part" is she has no one to blame but herself.

"They scanned me for this, so unfortunately this is exactly what I looked like on that day!" she said. "I have to take full responsibility for this."

The House of Lies star said she gave the statues to her co-stars for Christmas during the show's first season.

"It's the worst," she lamented. "You cant -- you can't get worse, I don't think. I hate it so much."

House of Lies returned for its third season premiere last Sunday, and the Veronica Mars movie hits theaters March 14.
