B.J. Novak is on a mission to get kids to love words.

The Saving Mr. Banks actor is publishing a children's picture book... which has no pictures in it.

“I wanted to write a book that would introduce the youngest of kids to the idea that words can be their allies -- that the right words can be as fun, exciting, and ridiculous as any pictures," Novak said.

"Also," he added, "I can’t draw."

The Book with No Pictures, which will be released on Penguin Young Readers' Dial Books Imprint, is scheduled for release later this year, a follow-up to Novak's adult fiction debut next month with One More Thing: Stores and Other Stories.
