If you thought Miley Cyrus's twerking, dancing bears and marihuana smoking on stage were a thing of the past, think again. MTV announced Monday that the 21-year-old singer will be starring in her very own MTV Unplugged special on January 29.
According to the network, the singer will "strip the electricity from her party anthems and turn them into acoustic jams." The "Wrecking Ball" singer will be joined by several guest stars during her performance as she belts out "more intimate reinventions of her Bangerz tracks."
Cyrus -- who was named MTV's Entertainer of 2013 -- joins artists like Nirvana, Jay-Z, Katy Perry, Lil Wayne, Mariah Carey, Eric Clapton and Adele, who have gone Unplugged since it started in 1989.
