The Internet can be a mean place, even for celebrities, especially for the ones who don't fall inside the bounds of conventional beauty.

Gabourey Sidibe, known for her Oscar-nominated performance in Precious, was on the receiving end of some truly cruel comments about her appearance at Sunday's Golden Globes.

But rather than get upset, the American Horror Story: Coven actress fired back with a middle finger in the form of a tweet.

Although Sidibe later admitted the jet doesn't actually belong to her (we'll let that slide, Gabby!), she does have a track record of showing comfort with her body.

"One day, I had to sit down with myself and decide that I love myself, no matter what my body looked like and no matter what other people thought of my body," she told Oprah in 2009. "I had to love myself. I was like 21ish, 22ish when I decided. I just got tired of feeling bad all the time."
