The story picks up right where Season 3 left off, (but is still based on the third book of George R.R. Martin's series, A Storm of Swords), and hints at a season filled with battles, family drama and treachery.

The clip shows Khaleesi/Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) with her new army and her dragons, claiming that her enemies can either "live in my new world or they can die in their old one."

In the meantime, Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) has returned from captivity and tries to counsel his belligerent nephew King Joffrey (Jack Gleeson), while his sister and lover Cersei (Lena Headey) confronts their father Tywin (Charles Dance) by telling him she'll "burn our house to the ground before I let that happen!"

The trailer also gives a glimpse of the Red Viper, Prince Oberyn Martell of Dorne, set to debut this season played by Chilean actor Pedro Pascal.

The fantasy drama television series will return April 6 at 9 p.m. on HBO.
