Sriracha apocalypse averted, shipping to begin again

Hot off the presses: Sriracha is back, and it's hotter than ever.

The maker of the beloved hot sauce, forced by court order to halt production in December after complaints by residents of neighboring Irwindale, Calif., will begin shipping again later this month.

There's no word yet on whether Huy Fong Foods, which moved from its original factory in Rosemead, Calif., to a 23-acre, state-of-the art facility in Irwindale in 2010, has come up with a solution yet to prevent the noxious odor of crushed chili from escaping and bothering the neighbors.
