Former Egyptian President Morsi's trial postponed due to weather

The trial of former Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi, who was deposed by the military in July 2013 and charged with inciting murder resulting in at least three protesters' deaths, has been postponed due to bad weather and is set to resume February 1.

Deposed Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi's trial has been postponed due to bad weather, and is set to resume on February 1.

Morsi, who was removed from power by the military on July 3, 2013, was charged in three separate cases with inciting murder in the deaths of protesters.

The judge read a letter in court that stated the postponement was due to bad weather prohibiting the helicopter from transporting Morsi from the Alexandria prison to the Cairo courthouse.

The trial is scheduled to resume on February 1.
