Eva Longoria showed her true colors in an interview for the January/February issue of Maxim, where she was named the magazine's Woman of the Year.

While the 38-year-old star graces the cover in a sexy white tank top, Longoria said that in real life she's most likely to be found in the kitchen with flour in her hair.

"One thing people are usually surprised about when they get to know me is how domestic I am," she continued. "So when you see the sexy Maxim cover and then you put it against me in an apron with flour in my hair, it takes a moment to reconcile that image."

Longoria was interviewed for the forthcoming issue of Maxim right after turning the thesis for her master's degree in Chicano Studies. While speaking of the subject, she explained that multitasking has always been easy for her.

"I was like, 'My brain can’t jump that fast from a Maxim interview to a thesis!'" she said. "Back in high school I really was the chameleon, too. I got along with the honors math club, then I would go to cheerleading practice, and then I was a band geek as well."

The former Desperate Housewives alum said being chosen as Maxim's woman of the year was "especially awesome" because she's had a "beautiful" relationship with the publication since she did her first cover for them years ago.

The January/February issue of Maxim hits stands January 17.
