Jan. 1 (UPI) -- Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting capped off their whirlwind romance with a New Year's Eve wedding at at Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Santa Susana, Calif. The 28-year-old Big Bang Theory star confirmed reports that she had married 26-year-old tennis pro with a series of photos posted to her Instagram Wednesday.

"Yep :) #thesweetings" she wrote on Instagram.
"Greatest night of my entire life :)" she added in another photo.
Breaking with tradition, Cuoco wore a pink strapless Vera Wang ball gown, but changed into a short red dress after the ceremony.
"Thank you @VeraWangGang for creating my pink fairy princess gown :) it was a dream come true," Cuoco tweeted Wednesday evening.
The "fire-and-ice-themed" nuptials included a fire breather and costumed characters on stilts.
Cuoco and Sweeting became engaged in September after three months of dating.
