Britney Spears' new schedule has left her with time on her hands! The pop princess just launched her two-year residency at the Las Vegas Planet Hollywood, but she's ready to star expanding her horizons.
"I would love to act," Spears said. "I would love to do movies. If it was the right part, it would be really cool... I love funny movies."
She said she loves comedies like We're the Millers and Bridesmaids but it's really another pop star's big screen performances that have her attention.
"I also love Jennifer Lopez movies," she said. "I love Jennifer Lopez."
Spears starred in the widely-panned 2002 Crossroads, and has made a few television guest spots, but if the movie star turn doesn't work out, the 32-year-old star said she wouldn't mind retiring.
"I have thought about it, but I think right now is my time to perform and doing what I'm doing," she said. "If I happen to have another baby or something like that, I'd probably move back to Louisiana. I do miss Louisiana. I miss the people. I miss the food. I miss the way of life, how everything is really simple. There's no traffic like there is in L.A. It's really nice."
Spears will take a month off following her four-performance opening weekend of her Britney Spears: Piece of Me show, returning to the Vegas stage at the end of January.
