Dec. 26 (UPI) -- Phil Robertson's controversial comments regarding homosexuality and African Americans don't appear to have affected his home life. It took him five decades, but the reality star, hunter and businessman finally bought a wedding ring for his wife Kay.
"After 50 years of marriage, Papaw Phil finally gave Mamaw Kay a wedding ring for Christmas," tweeted Sadie Robertson, the couple's granddaughter, along with a photo of Kay showing off her sparkler.
Robertson, 67, and his wife, known to viewers as Miss Kay, first married in 1966.
While the Robertsons were celebrating their union, A&E aired a Christmas Day Duck Dynasty marathon, despite Phil's indefinite suspension from filming.
