Dec. 15 (UPI) -- Missy Robertson said she didn't immediately fall in love with "Duck Dynasty" star and husband Jase Robertson when they first met 23 years ago in high school. “It wasn't love at first sight with Jase,” Missy told In Touch. “It took me a while to get to know him before I knew I wanted to marry him.”
She also said she's not a huge fan of her husband's signature beard.

Missy said the biggest challenge in her marriage to Jase was when they had their youngest child, Mia, who's now 10.“I’d much rather have the face that I fell in love with,” Missy said. “He says, ‘When the show is over, I’m shaving!’ ”
[In Touch]“She was born with a cleft lip and it was heartbreaking. It was especially tough on Jase to see his little girl with a disability, so we had to alternate who was the ‘rock’ during that time," Missy said. But now, Mia “just bursts into a room and starts talking -- she’s even done public speaking in front of thousands of people!”
