Madonna splits from Brahim Zaibat

Dec. 12 (UPI) -- The material girl is now a single one as well.

Madonna, 55, has ended her three-year relationship with 25-year-old Brahim Zaibat over the pair's conflicting schedules and work choices.

The breakup comes as Zaibat signed up to participate in the French version of Dancing With The Stars (Danse Avec Les Stars), which the "Like a Virgin" singer reportedly didn't approve of.

"M thought that [DWTS] was too cheesy," a source reportedly told Perez Hilton.

Zaibat, who worked as a backup dancer during Madonna's MDNA would tour, made his last official appearance with the singer in May during the Met Gala in NYC.

The couple was last seen together at a Kabbalah center in New York last week after Madonna got back from a trip to Haiti with ex-husband Sean Penn.

While the singer's rep confirmed the breakup to E! News, no reason was given for the split.
