Dic. 11 (UPI) -- Gisele Bundchen is known for the adorable Instagram photos she posts of herself practicing yoga with her 12-month-old daughter Vivian, but the model's latest picture has caused quite the stir.
On Monday, Tom Brady's wife shared a picture of her multitasking self breastfeeding her daughter as her team styled her hair, did her nails and made up her face.
"What would I do without this beauty squad after the 15 hours flying and only 3 hours of sleep #multitasking #gettingready," Bundchen wrote on the caption.
While many of the models' fans praised her for posting a photo of something other than her "bum" and "face selfies" not everyone was impressed with the image.
“I think breastfeeding is a very personal thing,” Denise Albert, co-creator of TheMoms.com, told ABC News. “And for her to put this on Instagram while she’s getting her hair and make-up done is a little outrageous, and I think obnoxious.”
Bundchen has been very outspoken about the importance of breastfeeding in the past. During a 2010 interview for Harper's Bazaar UK the model said she thought there should be a "worldwide law" that mothers should "should breastfeed their babies for six months."
“Some people here (in the U.S.) think they don’t have to breastfeed, and I think ‘Are you going to give chemical food to your child when they are so little?'" she said at the time. "I think there should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months."
The Brazilian beauty later addressed the issue in a blog post explaining she understands "that everyone has their own experience and opinions" about breastfeeding.
