Demi Moore reportedly sold engagement ring from Ashton Kutcher

Dec. 11 (UPI) -- Demi Moore has reportedly sold the 5-carat engagement ring she got from Ashton Kutcher to a Beverly Hills high-end consignment jeweler.

The 51-year-old actress is said to be on a mission to rid of the things that remind her of her former husband as she's still trying to get over him.

“Ashton broke her heart,” a friend of the actress said. “Anything that reminds her of him makes her sad, and she wants to be happy.

Under the conditions of the consignment, Moore's identity will be kept private in the selling of the $250,000 ring.

Moore and Kutcher married in 2005.

The couple, who separated in 2011 and filed for divorce in 2012, finalized the dissolution of their marriage last week. According to reports, the proceedings took a long time because the former couple couldn't agree on a financial settlement. The terms of the divorce have not been disclosed to the public.
