Dec. 11 (UPI) -- There was an explosion Wednesday morning on a road near Kabul International Airport, with no casualties reported.
The NATO-led International Security Assistance Force assess that a suicide bomber may have been responsible for triggering the blast on Qasabah Road, north of the Kabul International Airport. No ISAF casualties were reported.
An Afghan Ministry of Interior spokesman believes the car bomb may have been abandoned when it exploded: "It was a car bomb which exploded. No one was inside it. It had been left in the road, perhaps for a target to pass." No civilians were reported killed in the attack.
