Dec. 11 (UPI) -- It didn't take Aaron Paul long to land a new series after Breaking Bad came to an end.

Paul has landed a role alongside Will Arnett and Amy Sedaris on an animated series for Netflix, titled BoJack Horseman: A Tale of Fear, Loathing and Animals.

The show follows BoJack, the washed-up equine star of the family friendly 1990's (fake) comedy Horsin' Around who is trying to survive a "muddle of self-loathing, whiskey and failed relationships."

Paul will play his human sidekick and Sedaris is Princess Caroline, his feline agent and ex-lover.

"BoJack Horseman is a brutally funny and unique take on what can happen after pop stardom," said Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos. "Raphael [Bob-Waksberg, series creator] has created an amazing set of characters voiced by some of the best comics and actors in the world."

The 12-episode series will launch next year.
