Ali Lohan wants to be a singer, posts YouTube clip to showcase her voice

Dec. 10 (UPI) -- Aliana "Ali" Lohan, Lindsay Lohan's younger sister, has been trying to jump start her singing career since she released her first studio album, Lohan Holiday, in 2006. However, neither her first Christmas record or its followup Christmas with Ali Lohan, released in 2012, helped Lohan make a name for herself in the entertainment business.

Now, the 19-year-old Ford model turned to the Internet to "showcase her voice" to the world once and for all.

"My mama and my siblings have wanted me to post a video of me, myself showcasing my voice for a very long time, but I've been super chickening out," she says in the beginning of her first YouTube post titled "Singing a Tune."

After explaining that she'll be singing a "great song, by a great artist," Lohan belts out a 38-second rendition of Christina Aguilera's "Beautiful" for the camera.
