Dec. 9 (UPI) -- Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan are getting comfortable on the set of Fifty Shades of Grey. The actors were photographed sharing their first romantic moment on the film's Vancouver set Monday.
E! News reports that the kiss -- which Johnson gently planted on Dornan's cheek -- might have taken place outside the fictional Grey Enterprises where the pair meets for the first time as billionaire Christian Grey interviews Anastasia Steele for a position.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly both actors opened up about starring in the big screen adaptation of E.L. James' erotic novel.
"I just really understand it," Johnson, 24, said of the romance between Grey and Steele. "I think it's an incredible love story, and that's why it's affected so many people. Erica [author E.L. James] did a really good job of explaining how that just can happen sometimes and you have this chemical pull to someone. Adding in the sex makes it perfect. Sometimes you feel a little bit naughty, and that's okay."
"I certainly don't fear it," Dornan, 31, said of playing such a sexual character. "I already got a glimpse into working with [director] Sam [Taylor-Johnson] at the test, and I'd met Dakota by then. So I had a glimpse into how I felt it would be if I got the part. None of it scared me."
The R-rated version of Fifty Shades of Grey will hit theaters in February 2015, the NC-17 version could be released a few weeks later.
