Dec. 5 (UPI) -- Jordana Brewster said Paul Walker's death was "heartbreaking" in a statement she released on the death of her Fast and Furious co-star.
Brewster, 33, played Walker's love interest in the Fast and Furious franchise films. In her statement, she said the actor "was an enormous presence in [her] life for the last fourteen years" and credited him with being a philanthropic human being who lived in "integrity, humanity and humility."
The actress' statement comes a day after it was determined that the 40-year-old actor died of trauma and burn injuries and not from the impact of the fiery crash he was involved in on Saturday November 30.
A day after the incident, Brewster went to Twitter to voice her disbelief at the news of his death.
Paul was pure light. I cannot believe he is gone.

You can read Brewster's full statement below.
“Paul was an enormous presence in my life for the past fourteen years. While many would be satisfied with material success it made Paul more convinced of the need to help others. He never spoke of his immense generosity or philanthropic endeavors unless I prodded, however. This is what made Paul, Paul.
He lived with integrity, humanity and humility and seemed most happy when talking about his daughter, Meadow. I don’t know anyone who lived each moment more fully and loved life more than Paul; making his loss all the more heartbreaking.”
