Dec. 5 (UPI)-- An unidentified American teacher at an international school was killed today in Benghazi, Libya.

School board member Adel Mansouri said that the American teacher was shot near his home in Benghazi around lunchtime.

There is no additional information yet about the identities of the teacher and person or persons responsible for his killing.

Benghazi was the site of a deadly attack against the U.S. Consulate 15 months ago during which Ambassador Chris Stevens and three others were killed.
