Marcia Gay Harden cast in 'Fifty Shades of Grey'

Dec. 4 (UPI) -- Oh, mama!

The filming has already gotten underway for the highly anticipated Fifty Shades of Grey, and while there are still a few roles yet to cast, the film has netted Marcia Gay Harden to fill the shoes of the titular character's mother.

Harden will play Dr. Grace Trevelyn Grey, the adoptive mother of Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan), Mia Grey (Rita Ora) and Elliot Grey (Luke Grimes). The role of Carrick Grey, the family patriarch, has yet to be cast.

The erotic adaptation of the E.L. James bestseller will heat theaters Valentines Day weekend in 2015, and also stars Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele.
