Gillian Anderson poses topless for the fishes

Dec. 4 (UPI) -- Gillian Anderson is drawing attention to the plight of sea life in the splashiest way possible.

The X Files actress posed nude for the Fishlove campaign -- with an eel wrapped around her shoulders -- in order to promote a petition urging the European parliament to ban certain kinds of deep-sea fishing that have decimated fish stocks and destroyed habitats.
