Nov. 26 (UPI) -- Former child star Frankie Muniz surprised Malcolm in the Middle fans last December when he announced that he'd had a mini-stroke -- tiny lapses in brain dysfunction -- later telling Good Morning America that he "couldn't say words."

"I thought I was saying them," he said at the time. "I'm still trying to make sense of it, but happy I'm alive."

But nearly a year later, the 27-year-old actor and Kingsfoil drummer has suffered another mini-stroke.

"Almost a year to the day, I experienced another mini stroke. Hopefully that will be the last. Miserable," Muniz tweeted Monday.

"I was in the hospital last Friday," Muniz tweeted last December. "I suffered a 'Mini Stroke,' which was not fun at all. Have to start taking care of my body! Getting old!"
