Josh Brolin checks into rehab

Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Josh Brolin checked into a rehab facility in Northern California looking to get help for substance abuse.

The news comes after the Gangster Squad star was filmed by TMZ allegedly getting in a drunken fight at O'Brien's Irish Pub in Santa Monica, Calif. on Saturday, Nov. 2. Later that night, the star also got into an argument with a cab driver.

Two days after the incident the 45-year-old actor told TMZ he was "completely done" with alcohol.

"He realized he needed help and is committed to his sobriety," an insider told Us Weekly.
