Jennifer Lawrence wasn't a huge fan of her see-through dress at 'Catching Fire' premiere

The "Hunger Games: Catching Fire" star admitted Thursday that she didn't love showing her thighs at the film's New York City premiere.

Nov. 21 (UPI) -- Dior dresses Jennifer Lawrence for all of her public events, but the 23-year-old actress' sheer violet, gray gown was her boldest look of the year (the runway version of the haute-couture dress also features a see-through top).

Though her outfit got fashion blogs talking, Lawrence told Good Morning America on Thursday that she didn't feel comfortable wearing that particular look on The Hunger Games: Catching Fire red carpet.

"I think any time a girl has to show her thighs it's never going to be her favorite look," Lawrence said. "I love the dress -- if someone else wore it. It's hard for any woman to look at a picture of herself and [like it]."
