Nov. 21 (UPI) -- A fast food customer is telling McDonald’s to hold the rape songs.

McDonald’s apologized to a customer at one of its British locations because a rap song that references underage sex and prison rape was blasting over the restaurant’s sound system during breakfast.

The track, “Only 17” by American rapper Rucka Rucka Ali, is full of explicit references that Steve Davidson just couldn’t take while he was trying to eat with his 20-month-old grandson Charlie on Friday.

“The lyrics are disgusting, they are very explicit-- not just a bit risqué or a bit of swearing,” Davidson said.

“The bottom line is that it’s bordering on pornography. It certainly shouldn’t be playing in a restaurant where they sell Happy Meals to children. It’s not what you want while you’re having your breakfast. You have to be over 18 to download it, for them to be playing it somewhere that attracts children is obviously a concern.”

The fast food chain blamed the mistake on a staff member who connected his personal music player to the restaurant sound system during a night shift and forgot to remove it before the dining area reopened.

“The vast majority of our restaurants, including Haverfordwest, have external music providers dedicated to creating playlists that have been thoroughly screened for appropriateness of language and content,” said a McDonald’s spokesperson. “We apologize to Mr. Davidson for this isolated lapse in our rigorous standards.”

Ali didn’t sound too concerned about the situation:
