Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Dancing With The Stars said goodbye to one more duo Monday night with the elimination of Leah Remini, and her partner Tony Dovolani, departing the competition one week before the finals.

Remini and Dovolani, dancing a paso doble and an Argentine tango to Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" earned criticism from the judges for failing to leave everything out on the dance floor.

Scoring a 65 out of a possible 80, Remini and Dovolani's routines were called "careful" and "too internalized," and the audience agreed, sending them home.

"I did my best. Tony really had his work cut out for him," Remini said Tuesday morning. "They should give him a raise. He's my best friend, my therapist. He's just an amazing, amazing human being."

Also in danger of elimination was comedian Bill Engvall, who with pro partner Emma Slater, received the lowest scores of the week, with a score of 60 for a cha-cha and Argentine tango to LMFAO's "Sexy and I Know It."

But Engvall's sheer exuberance -- and his fervent fan base -- kept the struggling dancer in the competition and into the finals.

The two-night finals next week will pit Engvall against three other pairs: Amber Riley and Derek Hough, Corbin Bleu and Karina Smirnoff, and Jack Osbourne with Cheryl Burke.
