Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Justin Bieber returned home from a whirlwind tour through South America -- which included alleged visits to Brazilian brothels, a flag desecration scandal and vandalism charge -- only to throw a wild rager at his house in Calabasas, Calif.

About 100 people, including Snoop Lion, attended the party, which continued well into the early hours of Saturday morning and prompted some of his neighbors to make noise complaints.

Los Angeles police officers made two visits to the house and wrote up a report on a misdemeanor charge of disturbing the police.

Despite the bad press, Bieber said later that the shindig had literary inspiration.

"It was wild," Bieber told a paparazzo. "It was some Great Gatsby-sh**."
