Kim Kardashian gets speeding ticket trying to dodge paparazzi

Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Kim Kardashian's celebrity has reached such heights that her presence caused mayhem on Los Angeles' 101 freeway on Tuesday.

The 33-year-old television personality was pulled over when California Highway Patrol caught her speeding in an attempt to elude several members of the paparazzi.

While she sat in her Rolls Royce on the side of the road, as many as five photographers stopped their cars in the middle of the highway to take photos of the incident, prompting what TMZ described as "total pandemonium."

One brazen paparazzo in a Prius illegally pulled in front of Kim's stopped car and was promptly ticketed by police, though others managed to get away.

Law enforcement sources are reportedly furious about the actions of the paparazzi and plan on discussing the incident further with the L.A. City Attorney's Office.
