Oliva Culpo joined by Nick Jonas at Miss Universe

(UPI) -- Olivia Culpo handed over the her crown to the next Miss Universe over the weekend, but at least she has someone to share her post Miss Universe-life.

Moments before she passed the torch to Miss Venezuela Gabriela Isler, Culpo have a shoutout to her boyfriend, pop star Nick Jonas, who was in Russia to support his lady love.

"To the very special person who puts a smile on my face every day, I can't wait to start this new chapter with you," Culpo said.

Before the show, the beauty queen shared a photo of herself with Jonas backstage, even prompting speculation they might soon be getting engaged with her somewhat bridal white gown.

Jonas, too, took to Instagram, posting his support with a photo of himself eyeing a giant poster of Culpo.

Earlier in the weekend, the lovebirds shared a romantic night out in Moscow, and seemed to look forward to their life after Miss Universe.

"We're happy," Culpo said. "We feel lucky."

And while she said she was looking forward to seeing friends and returning to some measure of normalcy, Culpo said she was most looking forward to ditching the heavy gowns.

“Maybe I’ll also sleep-in for a day, not wear a dress, not wear makeup,” she said.
