Meet 'Chuckesmee,' the animatronic doll deemed too creepy for 'Twilight'

(UPI) -- Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2's awkward CG rendering of Bella and Edward's precocious, supernatural offspring could have been so much worse.

Ahead of Tuesday's release of the Twilight Forever: The Compete Saga, Yahoo debuted one of the DVD/Blu-ray pack extras, a clip of Twilight filmmakers and Nikki Reed discussing the animatronic dolls that could was supposed to play a young Renesmee in the final movie.

Dubbed "Chuckesmee," because of her horrifying similarities to another famous film doll, producer Wyck Godfrey called her "one of the most grotesque animatronic babies ever to not be seen on film."
