(UPI) -- Tara Lynn, a plus-size model, looks gorgeous and glamorous on the November cover of Elle Spain, dubbed by the magazine as a "mujer real." But while Lynn does look great, she doesn't look very, well, real.
The model appears to be significantly -- digitally -- slimmed down from her other recent appearances, including an image from Elle France.
While many comments on Lynn's Facebook page were positive, often crediting the cover as another step in a trend toward increasing body diversity in fashion, others were confused at why the magazine's editors felt the need to alter her. Still others complained that classifying Lynn, who is more curvy than overweight, as "plus-size" is damaging to women's body image.
In fact, Lynn appeared on Elle France's February cover, her long legs on full display and captioned "the body." The mag also featured her nude in April 2010.
