(UPI) -- The Daily Mail is reporting that Prince George's aunt Pippa Middleton bought him an usual and expensive gift for his christening in London last week.

The 30-year-old party planner and socialite gave her 3-month-old nephew silver casts of his tiny hands and feet -- trinkets worth $11,000.

Wrightson & Platt, the London-based company that specializes in baby castings, describes the little silver sculptures as "a perfect keepsake to preserve precious memories."

Prince George would have had to have placed his hands and feet in a jelly made of water and seaweed powder for 30 seconds. The molds can then be made from bronze, silver, glass or lead crystal.
