(UPI) -- Tennis star Martina Hingis was questioned by Swiss police last week after her estranged husband accused her and her mother of beating him up.

Hingis, her mother, Melanie Molitor, and her mother's boyfriend, Mario Widmer, were interviewed last week as police determine whether to pursue charges, said Florian Grossmann, a Schwyz canton police spokesman.

Thibault Hutin, a French equestrian show jumper, said Hingis, Molitor and Widmer attacked him on September 23 at his home in Feusisberg. He accuses the women of hitting him while Widmer went after him with a DVD player.

Hutin and Hingis split in early 2013 after two years of marriage, as Hutin claimed she had cheated on him several times.
