(UPI) -- Never one to keep his opinions to himself, Kanye West told Ryan Seacrest during an interview that fiancée Kim Kardashian is more influential than First Lady Michelle Obama… at least in terms of style.
“There's no way Kim Kardashian shouldn't be on the cover of Vogue,” West told Seacrest. “She's like the most intriguing woman right now. She's got Barbara Walters calling her like everyday,” he said. According to West, "collectively we’re the most influential with clothing."

“No one is looking at what [Barack Obama] is wearing. Michelle Obama cannot Instagram a [bikini] pic like what my girl Instagrammed the other day,” he said.
Kardashian has never made it to the cover of Vogue, while Obama has been on the cover twice.
In an apparent attempt to redefine 'classism' to refer to 'classy', West says that classism is what keeps Kardashian from reaching the highest heights.
“Now for me, what I want to create isn’t about black and white, but the reason why I’m not able to create what I want to create is about being black and is about classism. And that’s that wall when I took [Kim] to the Met Ball and they put it up on Vogue.com and tried to say she wasn’t there because they didn’t want a reality show girl there,” he told Seacrest.
But the reality star has recently been chosen to grace the cover of CR Fashion Book, a new publication by former French Vogue editor Carine Roitfe, much to West’s delight.
“Carine Roitfeld supports my girl. That's a breakthrough,” West said. “There's a wall of classism that we are breaking through.”
West also admitted that he was anxious about what Kardashian’s response to his wedding proposal would be.
“I was nervous," he said. "I was talking to her cousin. I was like, ‘I don't know, what do you think she's going to say?’ I'm not arrogant about love and feelings at all. I'm confident in the work I put so much work in to but this is someone else's feelings. You never know what someone else may feel at the time.”
