(UPI) -- The South Coast Air Quality Management District in Irwindale, Calif., has gotten 11 complaints since October 21 about a local plant that processes and bottles Sriracha hot sauce.
According to Sam Atwood of the AQMD, inspectors engaged in “odor surveillance” twice in response to the complaints. “On both occasions, they could not detect any odor,” he said.
