Star Wars blooper reel surfaces, 36 years later [VIDEO]

(UPI) -- A rare reel of outtakes from Star Wars has made it onto YouTube.

The bloopers were from A New Hope, the original installment of the Star Wars saga released in 1977.

Lucasfilm book division author and editor J.W. Rinzler found the footage in the archive while compiling a making-of production. He first aired it to fans at Comic-Con in July, 36 years after the film's premiere.
