(UPI) -- The Doctor convicted for Michael Jackson's death was released from jail Monday after serving two years of a four year sentence.
Conrad Murray left Los Angeles County's Men's Central Jail at 12:01 a.m. and according to TMZ the doctor already has big plans for the future.
Sources connected to Murray claim he spent most of his time in jail writing a large portion of a book about his life and the time he spent with Jackson. Insiders claim that a big part of the story casts blame on others and justifies the treatment -- provided by him -- that ultimately killed the King of Pop.
The 60-year-old doctor, who was sentenced to the maximum four year term for his role in Jackson's death on June 25, 2009, is looking forward to spending time with his family and acclimating to his life, said his lawyer Valerie Wass speaking outside the jail early Monday.
She added that Murray will likely one day practice medicine again. The doctor has plans to challenge his conviction and attempt to have it overturned over insufficient evidence and other grounds.
Murray is reportedly also open to the idea of starring in a reality show about his life after jail. So far no publisher has picked up the book nor has any producer contacted him about a series.
