(UPI) -- For Jonas Brothers fans still in denial, the fraternal music trio appears to have deleted their Twitter account.

As of press time, the former Disney Channel band's official Twitter handle, @JonasBrothers, linked to the following message: "Sorry, that page doesn’t exist!"

The Jonas Brothers' rep told the media earlier this month that the boys had canceled their planned 19-date tour because of a "deep rift within the band."

"There was a big a disagreement over their music direction," he said at the time.

Though all three brothers -- Nick, Joe and Kevin -- still have their individual accounts up and running, the disappearance of @JonasBrothers led to social media speculation that their group had split up for good.

"They teach me how to live, but they forgot to teach me how to live without them..." one fan wrote.

"'I'm Kevin Jonas. I'm Nick Jonas. And I'm Joe Jonas. And we were the Jonas Brothers...' #JonasBrothersPleaseComeBack," another tweeted.

Sources told E! News Thursday that the Jonas Brothers argued most intensely over the band's musical direction, though there were rumors of deeper "personal issues" as well.

"They are moving forward away from the Jonas Brothers. I think this is the beginning of the end," another source told People.
