Adrian Peterson could have 7 kids, says ex

(UPI) -- One of Adrian Peterson's ex-girlfriends claims the Minnesota Vikings running back could have had as many as seven children out of wedlock.

Peterson's children came under the spotlight last week after one of them was assaulted and killed by his mother's current boyfriend.

The public knew of three of Peterson's children before news of Tyrese, 2, surfaced last week. Baby No. 5, who’s living with her mom in Minnesota, is a 3-month-old daughter.

The girl's mother said she was upset over the toddler's death.

“Today has been a long day finding out my [daughter’s] brother passed away and knowing that she never even got to meet him,” the mother said on her Facebook page, according to TMZ.com.

It its unknown if the 28-year-old NFL star has ever met his daughter. Peterson admitted that he only met his son after the child fell into a coma.

In the wake of his child's death yet another woman has come forward to claim she is the mother of another Peterson child, a 4-year-old boy. She said that the running back has a total of seven children and that he takes care of them all.

“To my knowledge he takes care of them all,” Erica Syion, a former gentlemen’s club dancer from Dallas, told TMZ, “but I only found out about the other two this week.

Syrion added that Peterson pays child support but does not spend enough time with his children.

“He gets my son in the summertime,” she said, “but he could do better.”
