Miley Cyrus performs 'Wrecking Ball,' 'We Can't Stop' on 'SNL'

Ditching the skimpy outfits, oversized teddy bears and oddball dance numbers that have characterized previous performances of her two singles, Miley Cyrus sang pared-down versions of "Wrecking Ball" and "We Can't Stop" on "Saturday Night Live" over the weekend.

The 20-year-old singer and second-time "SNL" host referenced her provocative pop career during skits, but wore relatively tame outfits for her musical sets.

Cyrus first performed "Wrecking Ball" with a band, backup singers and what Rolling Stone called " power-ballad intensity." Later -- with nary a stuffed animal in sight -- Cyrus sat on a stool for slowed-down version of "We Can't Stop," backed by three acoustic guitars.
