Maksim Chmerkovskiy officially dating Kate Upton

Kate Upton and Maksim Chmerkovskiy went public with their relationship by walking hand in hand in New York City.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Kate Upton are officially a couple.

E! News confirmed rumors that the 21-year-old model was dating the 33-year-old dancing pro after photos of the two looking lovey dovey surfaced online.

In the pictures, which were taken Thursday, the couple is all smiles as they stroll down through the West Village in New York City.

Rumors that Chmerkovskiy was dating Upton began over the summer after the two were spotted having dinner at Scalinatella in New York.

At the time, a source told E! the two were "just good friends."
