Ellen Pompeo, star of "Grey's Anatomy," was not pleased with the Emmy Awards this year.

On Monday, the day after the 65th Emmys, she said that she "didn't see any diversity in the Emmys at all."

"The Emmys felt so dated to me...That dance number was embarrassing. Did you see one person of color in that dance number?" Pompeo said.

The 43-year-old pointed to the cast of "Grey's Anatomy" as an example of the diversity that exists in television, with stars including Sandra Oh, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens, Sara Ramirez and Gaius Charles.

"I'm extremely proud of our very, very diverse cast, which represents the world that I walk around in every day," she said of the five-time Emmy-winning drama.
