'Dumb and Dumber 2' will make original look lame

Jeff Daniels, fresh off his Emmy win for "The Newsroom," is looking forward to getting back to the low-brow hijinks with Jim Carrey in "Dumb and Dumber To."

Jeff Daniels may be a newly minted Emmy winner for his highbrow work on "The Newsroom," but he took a moment to share his excitement over his upcoming "intellectual free fall" when he starts filming the "Dumb and Dumber" sequel this week.

"There are some things we're going to do in "Dumb & Dumber To" that are going to make the toilet scene look lame," Daniels told the press after his Emmy win.

It's been 19 years since the original, starring Daniels along with Jim Carrey. The sequel is set to hit theaters in 2014.
