Corbin Bleu and Karina Smirnoff's high-energy jive earned a 26/30 from the judges on Monday night's "Dancing With the Stars." The pair danced to One Direction's "Kiss You," but it was the "High School Musical"-themed choreography and costumes that earned high praise from Bleu's oldest fans.

The 24-year-old actor previewed the "High School Musical" theme on his People blog Monday, saying that this dance had a "completely different feel."

"With our dance, we're doing a 'High School Musical tribute,'" he said. "It's got the whole jock and nerd vibe, and I'm going to be in my baseball uniform. That's going to be really, really fun. We're doing that one for the fans and I'm hoping a lot of people will be able to connect with that one."

Bleu's professional partner was happy to bring "High School Musical's" youthful energy to their performance.

“When we got the song -- a very youthful, energetic and fun song -- I knew right away this would be the perfect opportunity to channel what put Corbin on the map,” Smirnoff told InStyle.com.
